On the eleventh day of Christmas my good friends brought to me…🎁

As part of The LGA Foundation’s 12 Days of Christmas Campaign 🎁 D2 Youth Zone hosted a Christmas Parade through the Newbiggin Hall Estate. There was an amazing turn out to see the fabulously decorated float complete with inflatable reindeers, snowmen, gingerbread man… We also spotted a Christmas Tree! The elves were busy gifting presents and treats to the children and spreading Christmas cheer! We loved seeing the lovely photos of the Children beaming from ear to ear.
D2 Youth Zone is a youth work project committed to creating opportunities to empower young people to reach their full potential in a caring and supportive environment. D2’s focus is to provide quality youth work with a special emphasis on working with the most vulnerable young people in the community. D2 uses positive activities and preventative help, as well as working with young people with neet (not in education, employment or training), on a one to one basis, many of whom have complex issues preventing them moving forward.
