On the first day of Christmas my good friends brought to me…🎁
As part of The LGA Foundation’s 12 Days of Christmas Campaign 🎁 Acorns Youth Panel have used the funding received to recognise the hard work and dedication of our service user volunteers, who regularly share their time, skills and lived experience to shape services and make a positive difference to others. Through their ‘Yule be Celebrated Project’ the Youth Panel have organised a celebratory meal for young people and a festive self-care session for adults, with gifts for all! Volunteers have expressed how meaningful it is to be recognised for their contributions and value the opportunity to have fun, relax, and celebrate with others!
In addition, the young have made Festive Fun Family hampers to support those Acorns families most in need of some extra Christmas magic. Thank you LGA Foundation!
