On the tenth day of Christmas my good friends brought to me…🎁
As part of The LGA Foundation’s 12 Days of Christmas Campaign 🎁 Prudhoe Youth Project has used their festive funding to support local families most in need and will directly benefit children experiencing poverty. The funding has allowed PYP to ensure that all their local children will wake up happy of Christmas morning and has allowed families to have the supplies they need to have a Christmas day to remember!
Prudhoe Youth Project is a charity that coordinates an effective approach to promoting opportunities and activities for young people in the area. Part of PYP’s delivery is through a range of age specific youth clubs. They bring groups of young people together for project work, events, trips and activities to give young people new experiences, the opportunity to create new friendships and develop social skills. PYP runs youth clubs and a weekly health drop in at Prudhoe Community High School. The aim is to encourage young people to engage in projects and community activities to give them a better sense of belonging the the community in which they live.
