On the ninth day of Christmas my good friends brought to me…🎁
As part of The LGA Foundation’s 12 Days of Christmas Campaign 🎁 D2 Youth Zone has created this wonderful poem to summarise their Christmas festivities!
‘Twas the week afor Chrimbo when all through Newbiggin Hall,
Al the bairns were wondering “Will I get owt at all?”
The bairns had heard tha Ma’s and Da’s complain “This cost-
of-living crisis has hit us again. What will the bairns wear on
Christmas Eve. The price of jarmies these days is hard to believe.”
Along came the L.G.A Foundation with their 12 days of Christmas
Campaign. With their donation, the Mams and Dads were happy again.
We’ve managed to buy them all jarmies and slippers to warm
the kids up and put on their grippers.
Santa came and met all the kids in his Grotto. To the parents it
felt like winning the Lotto.
The children were smiling and touching his beard. But Santa
this year was a woman, we don’t find that weird.
With dancing and music and sandwiches and cake, no one
seemed to notice our Santa was fake.
