On the fifth day of Christmas my good friends brought to me…🎁
As part of The LGA Foundation Christmas Campaign 
Northbourne Youth Initiative used their festive funding to deliver a community day full of festive activities and fun! The day included workshops for adults making table centre pieces and children creating crafts with the help of their young volunteers. Northbourne Youth Initiative also had a café open serving hot sandwiches, drinks and more! There was a gift exchange, where community members donated a small item either for a homeless charity or Animal shelter and in return they received a gift from their grotto. Alongside all of this, there were party games, prizes, adult crafts, petting zoo and a tombola! Congratulations to Northbourne on bringing the community together to celebrate and spread joy!
Northbourne Youth Initiative’s aim is to offer children and young people 8-25 years a range of opportunities to further their personal experience and social development. We are a neighbourhood based project working with children and young people to engage in. From play, gaining certificates, camping, cooking, The Duke of Edinburgh award and fun leisure activities.
