On the seventh day of Christmas my good friends brought to me…🎁
As part of our 12 Days of Christmas Campaign 2023 Foundation Futures have used their funding to give 100 Christmas Emergency food parcels to vulnerable families in the community of Walker and Byker . These parcels have put together with the help of their young people. Foundation Futures decided to choose food parcels as a response to the needs of the community and has been planned in collaboration with 30 young people as their chosen social action project. The food parcels will be packaged up and delivered by the Foundation Futures young people on the 18th December.
Foundation Futures is a specialist teaching service commissioned by local authorities and schools to work with young people who struggle to thrive in mainstream education, are at risk of exclusion or underachievement. They also run youth and community groups in the east end of Newcastle.
