On the first day of Christmas my good friends brought to me…🎁
As part of our 12 Days of Christmas Campaign Foundation Futures have used their Christmas funding to purchase 500 selection boxes to give as gifts to children in the local area! They have also bought food and household items to donate to their local food bank, as well as personally delivering them to families that the project works with in Byker.
“It has been so lovely seeing how enthusiastic all of the young people involved have been and how happy they are to be able to spread some Christmas cheer!”
Foundation Futures is a specialist teaching service commissioned by local authorities and schools to work with young people who struggle to thrive in mainstream education, are at risk of exclusion or underachievement. They also run youth and community groups in the east end of Newcastle.
